Proper reward

Temptation for sweet bread distracted me from finishing a task that means a lot to me.

I spent 10 minutes debating whether to grab my keys, hit the road, and tap that credit card to get my hands on the sweet stuff.

But boy do I know better.

I caught myself putting the reward in the wrong order.

Reward should not come before deserving it.

So I stayed put and managed to finish the task.

Now I deserve the sweet stuff.

I’m gonna sleep like a loaf of bread tonight.
