It takes two personalities to make memories

A wonderful moment was created when I took pictures of a random neighbor’s garden (which I do a lot when I go outside) and the neighbor came out and found me taking interest in her plants and started talking to me and introduced me to the plants and told me their names and such.

It was such a wholesome moment. 9:20am cool morning under the sunlight and enjoying this moment with someone I’ve never met and as someone she has never met. She shared with me so many stories and so much kindness. I haven’t had interactions with strangers like this in a while, and it filled my heart.

As I walked back home, I realized the beauty of people showing the world their personalities. The moment the neighbor and I shared and the memory we made on the spot would not have been possible if I indulged my love for plants and flowers and her to have created that from the start and appreciated my appreciation for her love for her garden.

Personality and being who you are are really precious. We may not get along with everyone, nor should we in all honesty. But when we meet someone who we can get along, it can make for really special memory. I know I will remember today very fondly for a very long time. I am grateful for the memory, and I am very happy to have this memory.
