Which feelings are worth the time

I started asking a new question to myself when I get emotionally overwhelmed.

Is this feeling worth the time?

Is this feeling worth the things that I could have done during the time?

What is the tradeoff between the feeling taking up this much time and energy?

What have I ended up forsaking for the sake of this feeling taking over my executive functions and time management?

What is the sunk cost?

It’s probably the most logical approach to emotional management I have ever done in my life so far.

And it makes a lot of sense to me.
