Playing games

Game of Thrones video clips decorate all over my Youtube feed these days. I have been binge-watching them nonstop. It started from when I first got into House of the Dragon and then onto the Game of Thrones stories I already watched before but still marvel at.

The concept of calling these political vying for power as a game is not anything new. The way the characters in these stories manipulate their allies and kill their enemies is not new either. But something about calling this chaotic and turbulent lifestyle a game is a very very interesting choice of word. It’s probably my favorite word of the week at the moment.

I am very intrigued. Very intrigued indeed.
