Jjajangmyun before the race

My first ever 5k race is tomorrow morning.

I regret not having ran more regularly in the last few weeks. I skipped running or any workouts for few consecutive days too much. But the 20 minute run today was okay. So I’m hoping that that plus the adrenaline tomorrow will help me.

The tip I got from a very experienced runner I know is to eat carbs the night before the race. He would eat spaghetti and meatballs as his dinner and run off that energy the next day. He recommended me the spaghetti and meatball too.

I thought about it. I wanted it. But my family ordered jjajangmyun (black bean sauce noodles) instead, and I’m fine with it. It’s carbs after all. And it’s still yummy. No complaints there whatsoever.

I look forward to the race I will run off the brown noodle energy.
