A moment’s glimpse

It’s been extremely cloudy and raining the past several days. Probably from the hurricane far far away.

Seeing the muddy gray sky for so long bored me and frustrated me. But today I saw that sky turn a bit blue and purple. I just came out of the grocery store carrying a box of fried chicken, and I didn’t expect to see such a unique color of the clouds.

My heart had been cloudy too from stress. But maybe, just maybe, there is something I could see at a moment’s glimpse among the clouds in sight.
